Trip to Cebu-Dumagute
We just got home yesterday from Dumaguete and wished that we could extend our stay…but it’s alright. I’ll start off with my trip to Cebu. Inside the airport at manila, we met my physics teacher Sir Casey. What a surprise it was and also a coincidence that we’re on the same destination—to Cebu! While waiting in the terminal, we chatted with him and a few of our friends that we met too, Achi Renita, Achi Sheilah. and Achi Evelyn. They’re going to Bora…wish I could exchange flight tickets with them…hehehe! After getting off the plane, we took pictures with Sir Casey and separated ways when we got to our hotels. We ate lunch and dinner with a deacon and he would treat us to anything we like…especially the coffees and desserts after dinner. Then I met my ol’e neighbor Nathan and my classmate Stuart. Nathan is my basketball challenger in BSOP and he just left for Cebu last 2 weeks ago. Stuart is my clasmate since grade 6 till 2nd year high school and then he left for cebu. He really grew in his faith in Jesus. Then we ate dinner with Sir Casey and lunch and we rode on a ship bound for Dumaguete! But what a bore it was…we rode on a 10pm ship and my dad said we’ll reach there around 5am. Soo what I did was text and sleep. But what a breeze it was and the stars look beautiful. I woke up around quarter to 5 just in time to see the ship park in the docks of Dumaguete! The place that I love and was born in. Uncle junny fetched us and we stayed at their house. They got a dog that loves to be chased and likes to steal stuff. We visited the church after lunch and I met my cuz Richard, my best friend in Dumaguete Ahia Thomas and a couple of my friends. It has been 2 years since I last saw them. Then I played basketball with Ahia Thomas and he’s got the shot of McGrady. My cuz Richard too is good in basketball and we were teammates in a 2-on-2 match-up. We won because of him and I couldn’t shoot well. I got a good excuse for that because the ring was quite small and hard to shoot on. But really, if I play in a really good court like the one in the NBA…I’m not that bad as a shooter. hehehe! But Richard and I have been good together since our childhood years. We do mischief in school and always gets punished by the teacher. hahaha! =) I had a fun time in dumaguete as I w\always do…and I owe it all to my friends there. On Sunday, the members were shocked at my height and stuff and they said we looked like Koreans. Yuuuckkkkk!!!! I’d rather be an American. So we chatted with most of the members and they remember us as little boys and girl about 5 years of age. The most surprising thing is that they read my blog! hahaha! Better pst up some comments….=P That afternoon…there was a wedding and my dad officiated it. I saw a person that brightened my day and night and I know that some Dumaguete people know who the person is. Shhhhh…hehehe! On our last day at Dumaguete, we ate lunch with the teensa and DVBS volunteers. Wish that I could volunteer…hehehe! I know how to dance it…hahaha! Well..that’s all…hope you had fun reading this. See you next year!!! =)
